Description of the Program Getting StartedIcon in the Task Bar Pop-up Menu of the Monitor Text Translation Fast Translation Activating the program Getting Started After successful installation the program is ready to work right away. Interacting with the program is realized through an icon in the task bar. The right mouse button activates a pop-up menu. The left mouse key starts text translation. It is necessary to activate the program if you have activation information, otherwise it will be suspended after expiration of trial period. Icon in the Task Bar
The click on the icon with the left mouse key activates translation process in the active window of the application.
Pragma 5.x co-operates with different Windows applications through the same icon in the task bar.
Pop-up Menu of the Monitor
The click on the icon of the Pragma Monitor by the right mouse button initiates pop-up menu. All the basic program functions are displayed in this menu.
The menu of Pragma 5.x contains the followings items:
Text Translation
The mouse click on the Pragma icon activates text translation in the active application. It can be document, web page, e-mail message or any other text information.
Translation in active application works in MS Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Outlook Express, WordPad, Notepad and some other. If translation is impossible in the chosen application the proper message will be shown. In this case you can try to translate the text in the Fast translation mode. Translation is made for the selected fragment of text. If there is no selection the whole document is translated. Fast Translation
This mode is used for translation of text content in different windows. After starting the Pragma Monitor menu the Fast Translation window is opened and translated text is displayed.
When the window of the Fast Translation is displayed on the screen, any saving of the selected text in the Clipboard (combination of the Ctrl+C keys) will run the translation and displaying the translated text in the window. The button "Translation" must be in the pushed state (by default). If the button "Copy" is pushed also the result of translation will be saved in the Clipboard.
The original language of the text is determined automatically. Translation direction and subject of the text is set right here in the status bar of the window:
It is also possible to type and translate separate words or phrases in the Fast Translation window if the "In Line" button is pushed. Program Activation
Activating of the Pragma 5.x program is possible in on-line mode in the Internet or in off-line mode by filling in the form and input of the Activation Key locally. Switching between these modes takes place automatically. If a computer has an access to the Internet on-line activation is initiated.
The number of license and PIN-code is specified in the accompanying license agreement.
If a computer is not connected to the Internet the off-line activation window will appear automatically.

Immediately after installation of Pragma 5.x its icon appears in the Windows task bar "tray" near the clock.
This icon is an access point in the Monitor of Pragma 5.x.
